2.TodisabletheTrackPointpointingdevice,clearthecheckboxforEnableTrackPoint.
Todisablethetouchpad,clearthecheckboxforEnabletouchpad.
3.ClickOK.

ForeasyaccesstotheUltraNavproperties,youcanenablethedisplayoftheUltraNavintheWindows

ToenablethedisplaytheUltraNaviconintheWindowsnoticationarea,dothefollowing:

2.IntheMousePropertieswindow,clicktheUltraNavtab.
3.SelectthecheckboxforShowUltraNavicononthesystemtray.
4.ClickOKorApply.
5.ClickShowhiddeniconsonthetaskbar.TheUltraNaviconisdisplayed.Toaddittothetaskbar
permanently,clickCustomizeandproceedtocustomizethesettings.

yourcomputerrunning.Differentcomputercomponentsconsumepoweratdifferentrates.Themoreyou
usethepower-intensivecomponents,thefasteryouconsumebatterypower.
SpendmoretimeunpluggedwithThinkPadbatteries.Mobilityhasrevolutionizedbusinessbyallowing
youtotakeyourworkwhereveryougo.WithThinkPadbatteries,youwillbeabletoworklongerwithout
beingtiedtoanelectricaloutlet.

Therateatwhichyouusebatterypowerwilldeterminehowlongyoucanusethebatteryofyourcomputer
betweencharges.Becauseeachcomputeruserhasdifferenthabitsandneeds,itisdifculttopredicthow
longabatterychargewilllast.Therearetwomainfactors:
•Howmuchenergyisstoredinthebatterywhenyoubegintowork.
•Thewayyouuseyourcomputer.Forexample,howoftenyouaccesstheharddiskdriveorthesolidstate
drive?Howbrightyoumakethecomputerdisplay?Andhowoftenyouusewirelessfeatures?
Usingtheacpoweradapter
Thepowertorunyourcomputercancomeeitherfromthelithium-ion(Li-ion)batterypackprovidedwithit,
orfromacpowerthroughtheacpoweradapter.Whileyouuseacpower,thebatterychargesautomatically.
Theacpoweradapterthatcomeswithyourcomputerhastwobasiccomponents:
