Attention:

v Before performing any maintenance on the system, back up the data. Follow the

instructions in the Secure Managed Client - Storage Array User Guide User Guide for

turning off the system.

v Prior to removing a PSU from the enclosure and to ensure the system has

warning of an imminent power shutdown, disconnect power to the PSU by

either turning off the main switch (where present) or physically removing the

power cord.

v The storage system must be turned off if replacing a failed PSU in a single

non-redundant power supply system.

Observe all safety and ESD precautions in the Safety and Warranty Guide.

2. For non-redundant power supply systems only, turn off the storage system. See

the Secure Managed Client - Storage Array User Guide for instructions on turning

off the system.

3. Turn off and disconnect the power supply bail. Disconnect the power supply

cord to the faulty PSU.

4. Press the locking tab to the left.

5. Pull the handle to remove the PSU from the mounting cage.
